One Voice 4 change showcase
Very exciting news!
One Voice 4 Change invites all Boulder Valley School District students, along with any youth in the BVSD area, to participate in our Sister Cities Young Artists and Authors Showcase (YAAS), being held in late March 2027 as part of the International Young Artists and Authors Showcase, an annual juried Sister Cities competition for students ages 12-17. The top five selections from the OV4C showcase will advance to the Young Artists and Authors International Competition. There are no entry fees for either showcase.
Young people can submit original work in one of four categories:
Visual Art, Digital Art, Photography, Music, Literature, Poetry
Winning entries are recognized at a national level and celebrated as part of a broader network of communities worldwide, giving our youth a rare chance to have their creative voice seen and valued internationally. Full details, submission guidelines, and entry forms are available on the Sister Cities website. For questions or to obtain an application form for the OV4C showcase, being held in Lafayette, Colorado, contact Felicity Muench at onevoice4change@yahoo.com
The theme for this year’s showcase is “A Tapestry of Cultures and the Threads That Connect Us.”
This opportunity comes through Lafayette’s official Sister City partnership with Iquitos, Peru, in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. OV4C, a volunteer nonprofit, supports this partnership and connects our two communities through music, arts, education, and science, giving young people a chance to see themselves as part of a wider world.
Share this incredible opportunity with anyone who might be interested!
