Our One Voice 4 Change team recently went to Colorado Children's Hospital to work with the amazing staff that works in the T(w)een Zone.
The healing power of music, art, and science was just what the Dr. ordered.
Dr. Jennifer Campbell-Smith and Emmy award songwriter David Williams worked with children on animation and science discovery. Dr. Campbell-Smith's club, Birds Across Borders, is a globally minded group of high school students who regularly collaborate with others through the wonder of birds.
Professional guitarist and One Voice 4 Change board member Michael DeLalla is seen in the background working with a young man and his mother. For a few minutes, thoughts of the impending surgery were replaced with the joy of playing the guitar. Richard Clarke (foreground) joined our team as guitarist, music composer, and music educator.
