Phnam Bagley recently presented two Voice 4 Change sessions.
The Future of Education
Her futuristic approach and out-of-this-world ideas challenge us all to rethink what we are doing, and create better ways to prepare for the future of learning. Her partnership with One Voice 4 Change inspires and informs a path to achieving our mission.
To create world-wide educational partnerships that inspire learning and global citizenship.
Phnam is someone who is able to express profound ideas. Her visual way of sharing these ideas brings complex concepts to the surface in ways that are understandable to all . . . if we listen.
Listen to every word! From meaningful innovation to connections with the UN SDG, her words should be heard daily, and our work should strive to be as meaningful as hers.
Phnam's work on a solution for Singapore offers insight into what we could be doing, compared to traditional schools. Her justification and explanation can be applied to any place on earth that strives to prepare students to thrive in their future lives, education, and careers.
Each principle represents a better way we can think of education. It all makes perfects sense, if we listen and try it.
Sound, images, animations . . . we all learn differently. "We live a world today where we have access to the types of technology that can make synesthetic experiences possible."
Listening to students also means allowing students to create learning environments that have meaning for them.
As we prepare for the miracle sin learning that will happen with Martian Greenhouse 3.0, Phnam listened to the voices of Martian Greenhouse 2.0 students. Above is her introduction leading into the student presentation.
Listen to the STEM Martians present their solution to growing plants on Mars.
The discussion after the STEM Martian presentation was so rich with advice, values, and ideas for the future. Phnam listened to the students and provided AMAZING feedback. Phnam has shown us how to appreciate and empower students by listening. Listening to the voices of change, offering advise, and supporting their journey are important as we move forward on our quest to create world-wide educational partnerships that inspire learning and global citizenship.
Our students are "Born to Build the Future."
"Everybody is a creative." By listening to each other and phenomenal leaders like Phnam, we can change the world for those who need a voice for change.
We are so honored that Phnam will now be on our Martian Greenhouse 3.0 design team, offering advice that will allow us to rethink what we are doing, and create better ways to prepare for the future of learning.
We invite industry leaders to listen to the voices of students, become a mentor, and be the voice of change for those who need you. HELP WANTED: Mentors
